Most of us think back to our childhood when asked what was the greatest Christmas gift we ever received.  Or we might look back on our adult life and think of the greatest gift we gave someone. but the greatest gift was given over 2000 years ago.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world; that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 God loves us, each and every one of us.  We maybe white, black, brown, fat, skinny, tall or short, He loves the WHOLE world.  He gave us His only son.  WOW!!! 

He knew what was going to happen, He knows the story at the beginning, the middle and the end, so He knew man would fail but He still gave us His son.  Why?  Because He loves us and all we have to do is trust and believe in His son Jesus.

Not to perish but have everlasting life and all we have to do is trust and have faith in Jesus.  This is the best gift ever given.
